The Company and the Technology
Located in the Research Triangle Region of North Carolina, Reedy Creek Technologies has developed a patented e-mail based technology known as "Command and Control Internet Transport (CCIT)".

CCIT leverages e-mail processes such as SMTP ("Simple Mail Transfer Protocol") and MAPI ("Messaging Application Programming Interface"), to perform a variety of tasks including:
  • sending commands to remote devices
  • receiving information from remote devices
  • zoned web content management
  • embedding web content with queried information

The Company's initial CCIT-based product is Real-time Page Management (RPM)®, a Web page content management software solution that allows even the most novice Internet user to quickly and easily manage Web pages. This innovation enables webmasters and system administrators to safely delegate content management throughout an organization with peace of mind in knowing that web server access and activity is tightly controlled and monitored. U.S. Patent No. 5,937,160.

Real-time Page Management is used daily by leading corporations, the US Army, the Naval Air Command, non-profits, and in education.


The Product
Prior to the development of RPM, page management on the Web was expensive, limiting, slow and complicated. RPM is the first Internet software solution to focus on content management via e-mail. Based on Reedy Creek's innovative CCIT technology, RPM empowers users to directly refresh the contents of Web pages, anytime and as often as desired. Security provisions ensure the safe delivery of information and direct user access to the Web server is never granted. Versions of the software are available for Unix, Linux, and NT platforms.  

RPM addresses the number one complaint from World Wide Web (WWW) users that information on Web pages is "stale." With RPM, unlimited updates can be made easily through e-mail. RPM provides immediate response time in making updates to Web page content. In addition, RPM is easy-to-use and does not require any specialized computer skills or HTML experience.

Simply put, RPM is "webmaster relief".
