CCIT connects people and things!
Reedy Creek Technologies has developed a patented technology known as "Command and Control Internet Transport (CCIT)".
CCIT enables Internet appliance and smart device management systems to control targeted information delivery to, data retrieval from, and instruction execution on distributed smart devices, all in an encrypted environment. Using PC's, hand-held, and wireless devices, CCIT further enables any group of device managers to safely and securely interact simultaneously and independently with widely dispersed smart devices deployed on a large scale. Each device manager is carefully controlled and monitored with regard to the type of device access and activity they are granted. Examples of smart devices include network-connected gasoline pumps, vending machines, servers, and Internet appliances.
In short, CCIT connects people and things!

Business Solutions
Leveraging our technology to a customer's full advantage, Reedy Creek develops end-to-end business solutions that incorporate network management, back office database integration, as well as device deployment. Working with hardware and component providers such as Ubicom, Triscend, eDevices, and others, Reedy Creek provides connectivity to any type of Internet-enabled device.
Although transparent to the user, CCIT-based applications consist of encrypted data packets which are transported via wireless and Internet e-mail processes such as SMTP ("Simple Mail Transfer Protocol") and MAPI ("Messaging Application Programming Interface"), to perform a variety of tasks including:
- sending information and commands to servers, ERP systems, and remote devices
- retrieving information from servers, ERP systems, and remote devices
- zoned web content management
- embedding web content with dynamic information
E-mail based processes enable numerous advantages to be realized:
- Eliminates need for direct connection to server or other remote device thus avoiding many security concerns.
- Enables automated, batched uploads and downloads that were previously prepared offline.
- Eliminates need for continuous online connection at client, server or other remote device.
- Easily configured to transport “instruction sets” and “data packets”.
- Enables automatic file attachment.
- Enables easy transfer of information and collaboration among contributors.
- Easily integrated into specialized applications and processes.
- Leverages growing preponderance of email-enabled devices.
- Avoids unnecessary and inflexible overhead (browser interfaces, custom scripts, etc.).
- E-mail protocol consists of universal header structure and independent fields that can be easily adapted to interact with servers and remote devices.
- Easily managed bi-directional process (sends and receives).
- Easily encrypted.
Fast-paced enhancements to productivity are realized because non-technical, subordinated participants are enabled with powerful but easy to use capabilities. IT and network managers are assured of system integrity by retaining tight control and live monitoring of permitted activities.
Because of its interoperability with other technologies, including wireless, CCIT technology can be cost-effectively deployed in many environments ranging from web content management to remote device command and control.
